We know that nonprofits need to be focused on their missions, so when we can leverage an asset we have in a way that takes a bit of the pressure off, we do. Through our C&S Print Shop, we donate printing services to qualifying nonprofits within 20 miles of Keene, N.H., or Brattleboro, Vt.

Donations FAQs

Answers to your questions about applying to C&S for donation request.

Your first step is to take a brief eligibility quiz on our application. To request a contribution, your organization must be a federally tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) charitable organization, school, library or public agency and meet other criteria that are important to us. Meeting base eligibility criteria does not guarantee a donation or other award.

At C&S family of companies, taking care of our communities is at the heart of what we do every day. Our focus areas include Hunger, Heroes, Children and Sustainability. This strategy provides us with a roadmap of how we, as a company, can sustain and scale our commitments, predict and respond to emerging needs and engage our team members and communities in socially responsible ways.

  • Organizations beyond 20 miles of our locations
  • Capital campaigns
  • Multi-year requests
  • Endowment campaigns
  • Individuals
  • Scholarships
  • National health organizations or their statewide/regional branches
  • Travel expenses
  • Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, gender, gender identity, religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation
  • Golf tournaments (or similar sporting events)
  • Organizations with less than two years of direct service to the community
  • United Way member agencies*
  • Galas

*Exception: United Way agencies that focus on hunger.

Modest food donations. This is because C&S holds an annual workplace campaign to inspire our employees to give to United Way and because the company provides matching funds.

  • Donation Requests: Deadline is the first of each month with decisions on or around the 14th of each month.
  • Printing: Ongoing, with monthly decisions. Printing services are targeted to nonprofits in and around Keene, N.H. and Brattleboro, Vt.; see Print Donations for details.

Every other year. The reason for this is because we want to help as many groups as we can.
